X-Carve

Sorry for the absence in recent months, but I have a good motivation.
Last spring I decided to buy a CNC machine (CNC)* to perform various machining operations typically, as written, insignia, design objects, etc.
The new purchase is called X-Carve the Inventables.

X-CARVE

A latest generation 3D printer, able to work and shape many materials, including wood, plastic, steel and solid surface. It comes from’ America, directly from Chicago and compared to other printers stands for high accuracy, the notch accuracy and ease of use. With this new work mate you can start with small ideas and turn them into real projects, obtaining highly satisfying work.

I leave following a sequence of images of some of the projects carried out in recent months, to give an idea of the potential of new purchase.

Furthermore, the machine has the possibility, with the upgrade of an item, to make incisions in laser, for drawings and written on surfaces such as wood and soft materials.

Here's an idea about merging the laser machining and milling.

But I do not stop here, There is a new project, a new challenge for GR DESIGN…
